The Evergreen Olive Estate is a truly boutique olive grove located in the Far North region of New Zealand.

The estate covers 65 acres at an elevation of 355 meters above sea level in the highlands half way between the Hokianga Harbour in the west and the Bay of Islands in the east.

The short moderate winters, long dry summers and moderate frosts in the autumn coupled with rich free draining volcanic soil, create ideal conditions for the olive trees to flourish.

We are a couple with one young son and have lived and worked in Auckland while establishing the estate. It has taken the best part of 10 years of weekends and school holidays commuting north to plant the shelter trees and prepare the estate for the approximately 2000 olive trees.

The first 1500 olive trees were planted in 2004. There are the two varieties of olive tree that we produce.
